White Antelope – It Ain’t Me Babe (Dylan Cover)

Robin Pecknold, lead singer and principal songwriter for Fleet Foxes (one of my favorites), records solo material under the moniker White Antelope. Here, he throws down an excellent cover of the Bob Dylan classic. Find more at aquarium drunkard.

White Lies – To Lose My Life

Here We Go Magic – Tunnelvision

Jason Lytle – Rolling Home Alone

Jason Lytle was the frontman of Grandaddy until they disbanded in 2006. This is a shame because Grandaddy had a lot of great albums. With the release of Jason Lytle’s first solo album, Yours Truly, the Commuter, fans of Grandaddy have something to get excited about, as Lytle picks up right where his former band left off. A solid effort through and through, I encourage everyone to hit up Spinner’s Full CD Listening Party and take a listen.

Grizzly Bear – Two Weeks

Holy crap I am getting excited for the release of Grizzly Bear’s third LP, Veckatimest, out this Tuesday 5/26. Here’s a great track called “Two Weeks” performed on “Jools Holland”. Psychodelic and bubbly, sort of has a Beach Boys feel to it. If the rest of the album is as good this tune and “Cheerleader,” Veckatimestcould be one of my favorite albums of 2009.

Friendly Fires – Skeleton Boy

The Field – The More That I Do

The Henry Clay People – You Can Be Timeless

Great track reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen or The Hold Steady.

Cold War Kids – Something Is Not Right With Me

Puscifer – The Mission

I thought I posted this a while ago, but I guess not. I can’t get this song out of my head. Features vocals from Milla Jovovich….that’s Katinka from “Zoolander!”
