Rockabilly Beatles

In late 1964, the Beatles released their fourth album, Beatles For Sale, which included a couple of early rock n’ roll standards written by Carl Perkins: “Everybody’s Trying To Be My Baby” sung by George (my favorite Beatle) and “Honey Don’t” sung by Ringo. These are not your typical Beatles songs because they are relatively unknown when compared to the rest of the Beatle catalog and they don’t feature vocals by either John or Paul. They are also a couple of my favorite Beatles songs for the same reasons.

Wolf Parade – Shine A Light

The beginning of this song reminds me of “Get Back” by The Beatles.
