Michael McDonald teamed up with Grizzly Bear for a B-side, performing the vocals for “While You Wait For the Others.” Not bad.
I like it a lot, but whenever I listen to it, I think of the scene from 40 Year Old Virgin:

Holy crap I am getting excited for the release of Grizzly Bear’s third LP, Veckatimest, out this Tuesday 5/26. Here’s a great track called “Two Weeks” performed on “Jools Holland”. Psychodelic and bubbly, sort of has a Beach Boys feel to it. If the rest of the album is as good this tune and “Cheerleader,” Veckatimestcould be one of my favorite albums of 2009.
My apologies. Not much of a video at all here. I should create a better one.
How is it that Jay-Z can be remixed with just about anything and yield great results every time? I’ll leave this question open to any willing hip-hop critics.
It’s been done with The Beatles, Dave Matthews and apparently “The Knife” by Grizzly Bear. Found this remix in the free albums section over at stereogum.
Jonny Greenwood’s favorite band lately, according to some joe-shmo’s youtube comment. That’s enough endorsement for me.
